ANDREW THOMSON – PRESIDENT & DIRECTOR

Mr. Thomson is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Soltoro Ltd. which defined a significant silver resource on the El Rayo silver project in South Western Mexico. Soltoro was subsequently acquired by Agnico Eagle Mines in June of 2015. Mr. Thomson is an Entrepreneur who has actively been exploring in Latin America since 1993. Mr. Thomson is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish and also a director of Winshear Gold Corp. & Montero Mining and Exploration Ltd.

peter bojtos, p. Eng. – DIRECTOR

Mr. Bojtos is a Professional Engineer with over 50 years of worldwide experience in the mining industry. He has an extensive background in corporate management as well as in the mining sector in all facets of the industry from exploration through the feasibility study stage to mine construction, operations and decommissioning.

MICHAEL FARRANT, CPA., CA. – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & DIRECTOR

Mr. Farrant has 26 years’ experience in the gold exploration and mining space including former President and CEO of a TSX listed Mexican gold producer, Vice President, Treasurer and Operations Controller with Kinross Gold Corporation and Corporate Controller with Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Farrant was a co-founder, President and CEO of Commonwealth Silver and Gold Mining Inc. which was acquired by Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. in 2015.  Mr. Farrant received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University in 1992 and earned his CA in 1995 with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).

SEAN SPRAGGETT, B.Sc. – DIRECTOR

Mr. Spraggett has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry and is currently the general manager for Orla Mining in Panama. Sean previously led the development and operations of the Constancia mine in Peru for Norsemont Mining prior to its acquisition by Hudbay Minerals. Sean has extensive experience in Latin America in both exploration and development. During his career Sean acted as a senior consultant on the Yanacocha, Cerro Corona, Rio Blanco, Marcobre, La Granja, Cerro Verde, and Toquepala projects in Peru. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Geological Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

JOSE VIZQUERRA-BENAVIDES, M.sc., AIPG - Advisory BoarD

Mr. Vizquerra is the President of O3 Mining Inc. Prior to O3 Mining,  Mr. Vizquerra  was the VP of Strategic Development for Osisko Mining Inc. & Head of Business Development for Compañia de Minas Buenaventura. The Young Mining Professionals recognized Mr. Vizquerra as one of their Young Mining Professionals of the year with the 2019 Peter Munk Award. Mr. Vizquerra also serves as a director of Osisko Mining and Sierra Metals Inc. Mr. Vizquerra holds an M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queens University and a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from UPC Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. 

jerry blackwell - Advisory Board

Mr. Blackwell has worked throughout Canada, Western United States, and Latin America (including Peru and Mexico), with short assignments in parts of Africa, Europe, Greenland, Australia and southeast Asia. Mr. Blackwell has previously acted as a director and senior executive for both Toronto and Venture listed companies. 

Mr. Hall Stewart, CPG, RG - Advisory BoarD

Mr. Stewart, CPG, RG (Arizona) is a graduate of the University of Arizona with 30 years of experience in Latin America. Most recently Hall was Chief Geologist with Mithril Resources at the Copalquin Project in Mexico. Previously Mr. Stewart and Michael Farrant (Palamina’s current CFO) were co-founders of Puno Gold Corp., active primarily in the Santa Lucia District in Peru where Palamina has its critical metal focus. Hall was also co-founder of Commonwealth Silver and Gold Corp. where he managed exploration of the historic Commonwealth mine in Arizona. Mr. Stewart also acted as Project Geologist at the Ocampo and Palmarejo Projects in Mexico. Coeur reports that in 2023 the Palmarejo complex represented 64% of its silver production and 32% of Coeur's gold production.

Mr. Phillip Walford, B.SC., P.GEO., - ADVISORY BOARD

Mr. Walford is currently President of Bonavista Resources Corp. and the former President of Marathon Gold. Mr. Walford has over 40 years experience in mining and mineral exploration in North and Central America. Mr. Walford has held senior management positions at Marathon PGM Corporation, Pamour Porcupine Mines Ltd., LacMinerals Ltd. Geomaque Explorations Ltd., and Hudson Bay Exploration and Development and has extensive international experience in gold and base metal deposits. In March 2021, Phillip C. Walford and Sherry Dunsworth received the Bill Dennis Award for the significant mineral discovery made at Marathon Gold Corp’s Valentine Lake property in central Newfoundland.
